The two brothers studied at Central St Martin’s and the Camberwell College of Art respectively, joining Nexus in 2001 to embark on a rich and diverse directing future.

Enthusiastic about playing with and mixing up a broad range of animation techniques from stop-frame to 3D, they have directed numerous commercials for brands including Coca-Cola, Aiwa, Yakult, Ebay and Honda. Their recent work includes a 60” commercial for Royal Bank of Canada, and a spot for Coke, which features a giant monster battle created from collage of cutout comic book styles.

A sense of comedy often underpins their work; they originally started at Nexus directing sketches for the BBC comedy series ‘Monkey Dust’. They are also currently writing and developing their own project, ‘Destroy all of the Humans,’ a character comedy about a pair of misanthropic musical toy robots.
