Who-Fu

Masayoshi Nakamura is a multidisciplinary visual artist who was born and raised in Nishinomiya Japan, residential town near by Osaka. After graduating at Nishinomiya High School, he moved to New York where he received his BFA in Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts. He specializes in motion graphics, from TV commercials and broadcast design to music videos, but he is also a commissioned illustrator. His work has been featured in numerous publications including Print magazine, How magazine, RES, MTV, Stash DVD, Board magazine, Onedotzero film festival,
Bornshorts film festival, Portable film festival and Motionographer.

Magico Nakamura is a motion picture/commercial director and illustrator who was born in Tokyo. After graduating from Tama Art University with a degree in Graphic Design, she started her career as a TV commercial director. At the same time, she was directing, editing, shooting and writing screen plays for her independent films. One of her films won the 'Getty Images Presents Inspired 2006' short film competition.

In 2008, she moved to New York and is actively directing her own films. Her 'Reflection Plus' won 'Adobe records: Now Creating..' competition and her latest work for Sour's MV 'Hibi No Neiro' has been featured in numerous publications and film festivals including Boards magazine, onedotzero film festival, Bornshorts film festival and Motionographer.

Since 2008 Masayoshi and Magico have been working together under the name of 'Who-Fu'.
